Travel to India & COVID-19 Travel Update
It's important to note that the India e-Visa system does not permit multiple applications
with the same passport number, document type, and issuing country. Submitting multiple
applications can complicate the processing and may lead to longer processing times or
challenges for the Indian Government in reaching a decision.
Please be aware that making multiple applications could result in the rejection of your
application, and the application fee will not be refunded. To avoid any complications or
delays, we recommend waiting until your existing valid visa expires before submitting a
new application.
To check the validity of your e-visa for India, you can visit the official India Visa
Government website and enter your application ID along with your passport number.
Additionally, you'll need to complete a captcha to confirm that you're not a robot.
Once you've entered this information, you'll be able to access your application and view
its current status, which will indicate whether your e-visa is still valid or has
expired.
Stay informed about international travel changes due to COVID-19 is crucial. The latest
protocols as stipulated by the Indian government are as follows:
- Vaccination Status: The Indian government has removed all COVID-19
vaccination requirements for travelers.
- COVID-19 Testing: No longer are COVID-19 test results necessary for entry
into the country.
- Quarantine Measures: Travelers are no longer subjected to any quarantine
mandates upon arrival.
Despite these updates, the situation can shift rapidly. Therefore, we recommend that you
regularly monitor the latest travel advisories or reach out to your local embassy for
the most recent information.
It has been found that many applicants are complaining about misspelled, disoriented or
changed fonts or Alphabets ( especially " N " ) as in the example given below while
accessing their approved e-visas through Iphones or any other mobile phones.
In case you are also facing any misspelled font or Alphabet issue while accessing the
issued e- visa through your Iphone or any other mobile phones we suggest you to kindly
see by accessing it through a different device or a phone based on Windows or Android
operating system.
